I serached around and couldn't find any mention of this problem. I have a 2000 with the Flash ROM option installed. I was working on a track and went to save, during the save I realized it was saving to the Flash memory and shut it off. Big no no, I know. Now I keep getting the error "F-ROM Data Error" when I boot it up. Is the F-ROM board comletely trashed or is there anyway to rescue it?

Try to defragment your flash rom. On the 2kxl you can do that dunno about the classic though.

A defrag just moves the data around, if its already got corrupt data on it, you might need to reformat it. That should clear everything off of it so hope you have a backup. That would suck if it trashed (they aren't cheap), but I doubt that would happen just from turning it off.
