HELP PLEASE: SND FILES AND BACKING UP

i already posted this message once, but unfortunately nobody answered. please!! if anybody can help me, just give me a short answer. that would be really nice cause is really urgent. thanks!
i work on a 2000xl and a mac pro. please can anybody tell me how i can use/ listen to my backed up mpc files on the mac? what´s a good player for those snd filed on the mac pro? i´m sure almost everybody has already faced this question probably, but still i couldn´t find a propper answer on the net though. and secondly i read something about loosing data when backing up on the computer without some software..? please drop me a note if u can help me!! thanks guys!

Or just reopen your programs, resave them to a new folder and specify .wav format. Much better to work with that since any program can read that format.

You can download MPCPgmMaker and for about 20 bucks make and listen back to MP2x programs and SND files. Its a great program, and it runs on Mac OS.

When does your MP crash, because my 2000XL mcd has never run correctly, mostly I cannot navigate back thru folders once gone into them without ejecting and re inserting my CF card. The unit also crashes pretty regularly.
Anyone else had problems with the reader? I have a 1K and it runs great, loads a hell of a lot faster than my 2000XL, and never crashes..
