Card reader for older MPC 2000xl's

I have the older version mpc2000xl....the one w/ the floppy dr.......... I see the newer models(mpc 2000xl's) have a card reader. Does anyone know or has info about swapping out the older floppy and installing a card reader into the older ver. of the mpc 2000xl's.
