internal zip installation

Sup ppl, i recently got an mpc2000xl.

i wanna replace tha floppy drive with a 250mb zip drive.

will this 1 work/fit and wot else do i need 2 install. Ive read tha tutorial but im still confused

Yes, that's perfect. Well nothing is perfect but that is what I have in my 2kxl right now. It works fine.. Hopefully your will also.. The power plug cable will have to be made or ordered most likely..

I am not in the UK, but just go to any local PC store and ask for an IDE POWER SPLITTER, tell them that you need the cable that allows two hard drives, CDROMS etc, to be connected to ONE power source. Then follow the instructions on the site under FAQ and alter the wires. The splitter will give you the ample length necessary to make the alteration for the Zip to connect to the motherboard.
