Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

how much can i get if i sell a 2000 on EBAY or general? the machine is in great shape, full mem, smpte, brand new screen, 2 zip scsi drives with some zip disks? NO 8 outs

any input?

nah but, boom, you can find one anywhere from $450-$900, depending on the condition, features, and repairs it may need.

900 for a classic? no way...

more like 600 maxxx you could prolly expect to get...

there are XLs on ebay that have been there for weeeeks, because they want upwards of 750 for them.. they havent been selling..

prices for both 2k and 2kxl have been so low lately. I think everyones sketchin on it being a "legacy" product now.

like I was saying... depending on the features... but I guess this is the best time to cop um. Some people think new tech is better but it really comes down to what works.

I agree. I had all different MPC's and I use it to get down my ideas, and then flip it back into Sonar. I 4k would be a waste of my money right now, but if i had the money i would get it for sure. lol

No more then $600 fully maxed out son son.


My 2000 is fully maxed out but I never plan on selling it. It's a classic machine for me and is in mint condition. I will later get a 2500 to add to my studio.

got my 2000 maxed out too for $530, 32 meg ram, 8 outs, fx card.. after a while though, four of the pads (in a row) started acting up, I have to get a new pad sheet sensor thingymajig.. i might be selling it, for however much the pad sheet adds to it on top of 530
