I've read the posts about using a scsi to usb converter and am a little confused.
I want to buy a USB cf reader ($10.00) and use a usb to scsi converter ($10.00) to hook it up to my mpc 2000xl (original w/ floppy). It seems cheaper and less labor intensive than installing an internal cf drive.
Will this work?
If not, is soldering a necessity when installing an internal cf drive? Will I have to locate additional cables unless I buy it from a company that sells an all in one for mpc kit?
