i found out that in one song you can have 4 auto croms going on drums 1 - 4. I have posted some new tunes on soundclick..

the onlyt problem is that

if you make the drums like normal

then auto chrom a sound on
drum2
drum 3
and drum 4

each with there own sound..

once the tune is made

how can i save other than recording into cubase???

what i want to do is a tune that i can edit on the mpc...

i end up making a tune and when i turn off the mpc i cannot save....

the tunes i have made ive never turnt off the mpc check soundclick safehouse10

All in the 1 folder, save APS and ALL.

That should do it for that 1 song project.

Read up on saving.

so if any sounds were loaded they would have to be in a program so that when prog and all was used to save a song, when they were reloaded the song would be editable???

I told you how to handle your problem, try that out.

Also read up on loading data.

what you have said i will try out, the only reason i ask is because
i can only save midi messages to outbaord gear. But when i make tunes i use out board gear ++++ plus sampled stuff on the 2kxl, when i load a song all file it dont load any sampled sounds and it only lods the midi data i saved...(i always save all)... i will try what u said...
thanks

yes so all sounds that are loaded have to put into a program so they can be saved with the midi data.

I think you are confusing two things. .ALL files are sequence data that contain no sample data or program info. .APS files are all the programs and all the sample data but contain no sequence data. If you are working on a project sequenced from the MPC and using the MPC as a sampler you need to save both .APS and .ALL files. Do as Lampdog says and read up on loading and saving.
