I have some zip disks of drums and .aps files that I need to back up.
I'm using the MPC 2000 and have a scsi zip drive and a scsi card on my older pc.
I plugged my zip drive up and backed up my sounds but now my zip disks got damaged. Some .aps files work and some don't now.
I read on the midicase site about editing the registry and adding this to the registry under the NoVoltrack:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem\NoVolTrack]
"MPC2000"=hex:03,00,4d,50,43,32,30,30,30
I don't know the first thing about the registry and it looks like something scary to get into. Does anyone know where I'm supposed to copy and paste this code???
If this works, I should in theory be able to use my scsi zip drive and go back and forth from my pc to my MPC!
Anybody ever done this and does it work???
Thanks very much.
Josh
