hey guys my question is that evertime im ready to record on the mpc and motif i set the channel to a bass line for example right i press record and play on mpc the channel changes to like piano channel can someone help
out.

It means you are sending a program change signal (probably set to 1). Most likely you have the "Pgm" field set to something other than "OFF". Try changing that or search the track for program change MIDI messages.
