need help with zone editing

I want to be able to sample one one drum loop and cut up kick, snare but when i go to zone edit it has pre selected parts as i move zone numbers. how do i acutally use the zone editing? i dont have a manual so if anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. i gets kinda tedious sampling and editing for each kick and snare seperate.

When you have a zone selected cursor over to the start and end values and adjust them to where you want them. After you have all the slices how you want them hit edit, you can create a new program of all the slices or just slice up the loop and assign the slices afterwards in the program assign screen.

thanks man.....the zone number was on 16 so i didnt have much control over it, i changed it to 4....and im happy now
