Hey I'm trying to create a program which I can load up every time I want to trigger a sound chromatically. What's the best was to go about doing this? I have my MIDI keyboard out into my MPC MIDI in A. Do I go in the program screen and press a key on the keyboard then pitch the note to the right pitch then do that for all the keys (-240 to +240 in incriments of 15)? Pressing a keyboard key while in the program screen doesn't show anything so I think I'm going about it wrong or missing a step somewhere.
Thanks

im not too familiar with the 2000 classic, it doesnt have auto chrom does it? i think for the xl it needs the sample loaded and selected in the AUTOCHROM options, for the machine to change the prefs, if you leave the field blank it will chromaticly assign the midi notes across the 4 pad banks, but it does not alter the pitch settings for each pad, unless you specified a sample in the beginning.

The classic doesn't have auto-chromatic no, I think I've got this almost figured out though. I was having trouble understanding how to assign sounds to my keyboard keys. While in the program window pushing a key on the keyboard doesn't bring up any information, but I now know I can scroll through the Note feild and that corrosponds with the keys. Now I just have to go through and pitch each Note manually.
