Mac won´t read 512MB CF card

What´s up people!

Got my MCD drive and a Kingston 512MB CF card the other day. I have os 1.14 insatalled and I can read and write to the card from the MP. The problem is that my usb card reader (Kingston 15/1) won´t read the card (formatted FAT 16). I have a couple of SD cards that pop up on my mac's desktop, just like they are supposted to do when you insert a memory card in the usb card drive. The SD cards are also formatted FAT 16. The CF card simply wont pop up.

Does anybody know if the mac can read cards formatted on the MP (version 1.14 ore 1.20)?

I read about CF cards with 512 MB or 1 GB capacity formatted under 1.14 OS. and they were 'visible' in pcs with Windows.
I also read that CF cards with 2 GB capacity could only be 'visible' in Windows when formatted under 1.2 OS.
However I'm not sure how it is with Macs.
