mpc 2000xl with korg ms2000b

I'm using the mpc as my controller and i can't figure out how to get more than one sound out of the korg at a time in sequence. Each time i switch the instrument, the sound that i just layed switches. I was told it was something about my global settings on the korg, but i am stumped. Would greatly appreciate any help.

Unfortunately the MS2000 is not multi-timbral so it's not possible to sequence more then one track with it.
