Back again ppls. Listen I just went through my manual, but it was kind of cryptic a little. Can I load more than one program at a time? When I try to do this it erases the current program I have loaded. I also tried to search on here, but couldn't find anything to zero in on this particular issue. Also I'm asking for reassurance because I thought I had heard somewhere I can only load one at a time? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PS Would it just be better to load one program and then say like I have my samples, save them as a program on MPCEditor and load them up in the MP and assign to pads? What I'm trying to do is have a multitude of sounds in all 4 banks by loading multiple programs.

Alright I went back to the manual real quick. So I can load multiple programs, but I will have to assign specific programs to the specific pads. Meaning that I can load all my samples and drums in their respective programs, but manually will have to be assigned to pads A-D where I want them? Tell me if I'm understanding this correct.

You are correct.

You can load multiple programs on the 2000 but will have to assign the sounds seperately into an existing program or create a new one from scratch.

It's a biatch but I guess it help the user to be more decisive when it comes to choosing sounds.

One active program (64 pads) at a time. No midi, that's all you get.

xl = 4 active programs at a time.

Both can hold 24 programs in memory.
