one shot and note one mode

what should i do ?
i have for example 3 sec sampel and i want to turn on option in which akai plays sampel only when i hold pad and when i release it sampel stops playing. i hope that i said it clearly. thanks for help.

hold shift + progam for the pgm menu -> param -> play mode POLY / MONO / NOTE OFF ...it can be different for each pad..

you need the note off option.

In the maiin screen, hold shift & then press program. Hit the pad that you've assigned your sample to. Highlight params and open window. Use the jog wheel and scroll to Note Off.
