saving programs vs sequences

If I use a program to write several different sequences, should i re - save the program under a different name every time as well to keep the program settings to match the sequences, or will the sequence apply all the different settings to the same program every time and I don't need to worry about the original program being changed. THanks for any insite to this question. DHG

I have been doing that, and screwing up programs, and wasting time that could have been better spent at the piano. I thought the forums were so that people could ask questions and get answers that helped.

Manuals answer questions too.

read the manual, the two don't do anything similar

.seq files and .pgm files work independent of each other

I understand time wasted and I'm sure you didn't want to have wasted time on your hands BUT if you read the manual, it would have showed you the difference between those files, what they do, WHY they do it and how to save. Really, it's in the manual. The forums, the way I see it, is for more than basic discussion of mpc's and such that cannot be found in the manual. Cause the manual should have been read and gone through from the get go ya know, that's on you, not the forums.
