Greetings from a new MPC head

I finally did it. Bought a used 2000xl mcd off craigslist. I've mainly worked with software for my music needs, but I must say...DAMN!!! If any body out there who hasn't felt those pads beneath their fingers, jump at the chance. I promise not to post silly crap like "NEWB QUESTIONZ" or "How do I plug in my new MPC??????HELP" But thanks for all the helpful info on the board. This should most deff help my transition from software to hardware.

^agreed^ I'm pretty technically adept so I got a lot of the basic isht down despite not havin a manual (even though I downloaded it today). What kills me is the sheer laziness of cats these days, no one wants to learn on their own anymore. Everybody wants the answers to the problems without workin to figure it out themselves, bad look.

I hear you, and even though I agree that it is laziness to a certain extent, it also the way that many people are taught to "attack" their problems/challenges nowadays, all the rewards and none of the work. Try working with kids and you see this to an extreme.
