MY SAMPLES ECHO

how do i get my sample to play only as long as i touch the pads for example right now if i hit the pad it will play the whole sample i want it set to where it will play how ever long i hold down the pad. how do i adjust this
is there a function. any help i apprecite it

LoL I used to wonder that too. Altho I never called it an echo
Just give it time you will get used to hitting the pads

i also have this problem its getting annoying when recording in drums, so how are you ment to hit the pads? hard? soft? exactly in the middle? lift finger up again fast after hitting?

i think i does it more when press the pads like normal buttons...if that makes sense

You will figure it out. Honestly I couldnt explain to you how I hit the pads, but I couldnt replicate the double trigger that yall are talking about if I try. But it happens to my freinds all the time when the get on the mpc. Practice makes perfect

the title says one thing, poster is talking about something else... and i think the people who are responding are talking about when you hit the pads a certain way, the note plays 2x. -because that's what seems to be the subject...

some times it's annoying, but sometimes it's kinda nice. it looks like it's an mpc thing... my old 2k used to do it, and my 4k does it too. you just have to hit the pad just right.

Nah, he's talking about the NOTE OFF thing. It's not the echo, it's how the sound overlaps if it's on POLY and you repeatedly hit the pad. But I got it figured out for him....What up ontherise?
