XL data wheel

is it really that crappy and breaks often???

that is the only reason that is keeping me from form wanting an XL.

i have never had a problem with it. I actually went from the 1k where the data wheel is crap compared to the xl. i actually love the data wheel.

The XL data wheel is the best one in my opion. I take that back. The data wheel on the 2k Is INCREDIBLE, thats the best data wheel of all

i actually heard it form here, someone told me that its doesn't last more then a year or some shyt...

I've only heard that about the 2500's data wheel.

is the data wheel interchangeable for the 2000 and 2000xl i wonder? that would be nice to have a 2000xl with the 2000 wheel...

honestly, the one attribute i can think of that the 2000's, 60 and 3000 lack concerns only memory/data storage. other than that, after loitering in guitar center and sitting on the newer MPC's, i would not swap my 2k for 2500 if someone offered just because of the data wheel, pads and buttons of the original design.
