MPC 2000 XL Time Stretch

I used to have an MPC 2000 and I just switched to the 2000XL. Im trying to get the time stretching function to work. Anyone know how to do this? I think it involves the Trim - then Loop, but I can't get beyond that. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

trim mode, edit ... its one of the f keys. then scroll to time stretch.

This should get me started, but does anyone have and idea what "Ratio %", the "Presets" and the "Adjust" are?
