Replacing the 2000 LCD screen with XL flip up screen

Hey all. im a newbie ass on here. just got my mpc recently and loving it but gotta replace the LCD as its fkd.

wondering if its possible to replace the 2000 flat screen with the flip up screen from the 2000 XL. from pictures it doesnt really look possible but id love it to be possible.

anyone with the info would be appreciated.
