MPC & Pro Tools MTC

What I'm Trying to do is set up my mpc with Pro tools 6.1 so that when I hit record in PT the mpc starts to play ( not record) because I don't have the 8 outs in my XL and I want to make sure all my tracks are sync'd up. Can this be done?

It is set as the slave. My problem is when I hit record in Pro Tools the mpc starts to record. When What I want to happen is when I start to record in PT the mpc just plays so everything sync's up

I'm not sure why that's happening but you might want to try the MPC as the master and PT as the slave, here's a link to a thread with info.
