I have recently aquired a 2000xl and I'm not sure if it has the 32mb memory upgrade. what is the best way of finding out?

go to sample shift 4 i think, you should be able to move sample time to 182 seconds if you have the memory upgrade

Or, from the sample page [press SHIFT and button 4] just press OPEN WINDOW to see sample time and megabytes of memory displayed.
