How do I adjust my sample? Its prolly simple.

When I assign my sample to a pad then press the pad say three times quickly the sample from the first press will play all the way through. I want the sample from the first press to stop once Ive pressed the same pad again. When I press the pad three times it plays the sample three full times. I want the sample to stop once the next pad is pressed so the sample will start from the beginning. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Set the voice overlap to MONO to make the same pad cut itself.
Or set the MUTE ASSIGN to make a different pad cut it (up to two per pad)

shift program, params, bottom right corner >scroll to note off, mono, or poly.
