SCSI drive .WAV samples

Other then sampling drum sounds directly off a record, how can I get some sounds into my MPC200xl other then my zip disk? Im trying to use my SCSI drive but im having trouble with my CD-R that I made. I know cd-rs work because I loaded somone elses CD-R into the SCSI drive and it worked find before. Maybe the Sample rate is too high?

straight up im upin to hear about this. i download breaks from sites and when i load them onto the mp the sample frequency is real low, but the sample is real high so you can only make it higher? its messed up.
