Chicago beatmaking scene.

Right now Chicago is blowin up musically. I want to start a group to meet once a month to make beats with so we can learn from each other. Ive seen MPC classes offered on Craigs list. So im thinkin people do get together to make beats. Does anyone know if anything like that exists?

I don't live in Chicago but... I know they got something like once a month for beatmakers at a venue... check this out.

im down with this. i want to move to japan or something. i live in nz and this is a lonely az place for making music, the internet is better than my society.
