Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I was wondering if there is way to eq your drums or bass through the mpc. I've looked in the manual, but had no luck finding anything. Any input would be appreciated.

The only way to EQ your drums is to run your sounds from the MPC through a mixer. Now take it mind it would be best if you had the 8 outs on your MPC if you don't already have them. If you dealing with the digital route let's say Pro Tools, or Cubase, etc... You can run the sounds out from the MPC into your audio application and then tweak each sound in the Audio application's EQ.

Currently right now without a mixer, or a audio application you can only filter your sounds, pan the sounds, and control the volume of each sound in the MPC.

I have the EB board which includes a filter/eq but I never use that. I eq a bit when I sample and when I have made a beat I just track everything to cubase and eq there some more...

I need to pick the eb board up, but is there a sight that shows you how to install it?

Euhm...I think I just looked in my manual. Basically you just need to open up the mpc and plug in the card at the right place. That's it really.
