MPC KEEPS FREEZING!!!!

I am having a huge problem with my mpc,

everytime I try and load more than about 2 or 3 samples on it
or I push the cursor too fast it freezes

the screen will either go into

wait.........

and do nothing or

it will say disc error,

I have 32 megs installed on the 2000xl
and I also have reinstalled the 1.2 O.S.
since I have the card reader?

can anyone give me any more tips?

I purchased new ram on ebay for 20 bucks as I figured that this is probably the only other option I have to fix this bug

take the ram out thats in there and run it with the standard 2 megs... see if that fixes your issue. sometimes ram can screw things up.

this seems idd a ram problem, try unpluggin it cleaning the slots and try again
