Yo did you buy this directly from adtron at www.adtron.com ? It says on the site that it is an "end of life product" - where did you find it? how much?

how will you load the software in the mp?

well, i got this dude whose keen to gut the floopy drive so its just the box, and modify it to place the card reader in it.

the card reader is just an ide drive in a box, you can take them out no problem.

just buy a pin converter and its all go...


still have to sort this out but ill let you know as soon as i hook it up

the adtron one was 28nzd all up.

which is peanuts in the us.

the other one i got was brand new for $1

i was totally stoked on that. mind you the shipping cost $20

but im going to collect some of these drives.

then im going to get a 3000 to accompany my xl haha.

nah straight up these are useful...

i would love to find an internal one. im sick of the scsi cable, its annoying especially when you move the mp around all the time.

it would be nice if dudes started a thread and posted up a photo of their card reader, in or out of the machine
