NE1 USE a BACKUP POWER SUPPLY?

Does anyone use a backup power supply with their MPC 2000XL? I am looking to get one, due to power surges, outs in my area. Any suggestions on a brand?

So quick question, when the power goes off the MPC remains on? Do you have your MTR and or PC connected to this as well? I was looking at getting an APC ES, Beets what one do you use?

Yes, I have my PC mother board and my MPC hooked up (theres a total of 7 things that can be plugged in) and 2 of them stay on at all times, and those are the ones I have my PC and MPC plugged into. Peace
