How do you switch the sounds going from both ears to the right and then to the left by using mpc2000xl?

Thanks

panning - in the mixer screen on the top the dial is usually set in the middle. Turn it to the left or the right.

just press shift+mixer, select the pad you want and you can pan and control the volume of the sample being played on that pad

I'm at that window but how do u make the drum roll going from the left ear to the right and vice versa?

Automate the panning or use 2 panned sounds layered with different velocities for each channel as the roll pans.

Depends how smooth or abrupt u want the panning to sound

U could chop the drum roll into 2 pieces and play it with one panned to the left and one to the right

Or u could chop it into say... 5 pieces pan the 1st part hard left, the 2nd slight left, 3rd in the center, 4th slight left, and the 5th hard right. Play and record the drumroll in its order with the panning information

You could handle the panning before or after.
