just delete sound number 12, 46, 61 & 64 and u should be ok. j/k

do u have the 2000 or the 2kxl? i no the xl can use up to 4 programs, which is 256 sounds in a sequence. u have to create a new program.

nevermind, bicedidit beat me

but just to add a bit of extra knowledge, you actually have provision for up to 24 programs in total. But you can only have a max of 256 sounds in the mpc. And as bice said, you can only have 4 programs being played at any time.

really? i thought all u could have was 256 sounds in 1 sequence, with the 4 programs combined, but up to 24 programs with as many sounds as the 32mb allows.
im prolly mistaken tho, not that it even matters. 4 programs filled with 256 sounds is way to much work for me. i think ive maxed out at something like 130 samples on the mpc, which was all used on 1 beat.

is there really no way that the 200xl cant be expanded to work with more than 32mb memory?

Thanks, Ben

man, this seems like a lot more work than it's worth. i couldnt even imagine trying to fit that many samples into one track

if this goes down and you use all those sounds. post it up so I can take a listen!

yea..that would work best in this kind of situation.

plus, if you fill up all your pads with chops, where are your drums gonna go?
