now lets say i have a sample thats like 4 piano keys in a row, when i hit the pad twice in a row, it plays the first it plays like this
1st(key) 2nd 3rd 4th
1st 2nd 3rd 4th
over lapping each other. is there a setting where i can get it to not over lap, just restart from the begining like

2nd when im loading new sounds from a floppy, for instance let say i got a floppy filled to the brim with kicks, when i go to the disk load screen i can load each individually, and way i can have the mp spread them out through the pads with out manually having to do this(i know u can do it with a scsi drive) just hoping its possible with a disk


3rd any way i can put my stuff on sound click just from floppy disks, sequences songs ect so when im having a problem with somthing or need advice i can just post a link(i dont have a sound card yet, or recording software) just hoping i can save to a floppy use a program that will reconize and post on sound click

I can help you with the first and second problem. What you need to do is load up your sample then hit shift + program then in there you want to tap the pad that you assigned the sample to after that hit "Params" in there you want to highlight where it says poly and change it to note off. This way the sample will only play as long as you hold down the pad. As for loading samples you will have to load all of your kicks where you want em then save that as a program hit Shift + Disk then hit save and turn the data wheel till it says Save A program. This way when you want to load up your kicks you just load up that .pgm file that you just saved. Something to look into would be MPC Editor its a tight application for making mpc programs cop that and a zip drive for your pc and mpc and you can create crazy programs for the **** of it.
