I just bought a MPC 2000 off ebay and im going to have NO IDEA how to use it. I used FL Studio since i started producing about 2 yrs ago. I've gotten fairly good and sampling and that has become the main core of my productions. I was wondering tho if you guys knew about any website with videos (besides youtube) with MPC 2000 tutorials. Help is much appreciated.

**** a tutorial, read the manual. you'll be making beats in a few minutes. it shouldnt take you more than a few days to have a good grasp on the machine... try as much as possible to keep the majority of the work you do on the mpc and you will become alot more skilled. (chopping samples, layering drums etc...)

yea just keep the manual handy. if you're coming from a software environment then you should be ok. at least you were doing something before the mpc and not just jumping right in. a lot of the terms and references software uses, hardware also uses. may be worded different in some cases, but coming from a software background, you should be ok for the most part. i went from FL to the mpc and i had no problems at all. just like anything else, just takes hands on experience and practice
