hopefully someone can clear this up for me as i have never really messed with this. had my 2kxl for ages but never used it as a controller.
Basically my problem is this. Got 3 midi channels up in Cubase with the outputs assigned to 3 different VSTi. Got my mpc midi out A connected my project mix midi in.
Now i can trigger sounds fine... the problem comes when i sequence a part for lets say the B4 on track 1 (mpc), when i try and sequence a part for trilogy on track 2 it is still triggering the B4. WHY?
I have set up the midi channels on my mpc corresponding to the channels in cubase why does it trigger B4 when its assigned to channel 1 and i am hitting pads while on track 2 which is assigned to channel 2.
scoured so many pages of threads and have obviously found some posts dealing with this but so many different answers. I made this thread cuz the last post i read dealt this but there were conflicting answers. Please Help those with the know. Thanks in advance.
