Reason playing virtual instruments at same time?

I am using reason as a sound module and my mpc as the sequencer. I have recorded a sequence into my mpc midi track 1 using the subtractor synth in Reason, when I hit play on the mpc the midi track 1 plays back perfectly. I am trying to record a different instrument on track 2, but when I create a NN-19 sampler in reason and press play on the mpc it plays both the subtractor sounds recorded on the first midi track, and it triggers whatever sound it is that I have loaded into the NN-19 sampler in reason. It's playing the NN-19 like I recorded it and the subtractor sounds at the same time?

SETUP:

mpc midi track 1B: reason midi channel(green box) is set to subtractor

mpc midi track 2B: reason midi channel(green box) is set to nn-19, and the red arm and midi keyboard icon is selected and ready to record on this particular track in reason.
