how does he get the sound to loop while in 16 levels? I am really confused. And this video is awesome

i believe when he set up the structure of the loop off the snare that was pre mpc work

nah you can do that on the mpc.... he jus took a mid section from the snare and looped it as he says, the section he cut was prolly really tight so the note has a nice sustained levell.. it takes skill otherwise its starts clickin but thas what i do to get bass sometimes... flip the 16 levels on an it job done.
