yo yo nother question, much needed help pls

Is there a way to hook the 2000 up to a pc directly? This is my setup, I have my MPC running into my stereo input for playback. Then I have a EuroRack UB802 6 channel mixer. I have the right input in my MPC RECORDED IN plugged into the my EURO 6 channel, the left is running to my stero inputs ( RC JACKS ), from there i have 2 tape in/outputs that have an (RC) converted to a pc sound jack on my mixer. So it looks like this, im trying to run my MPC into the TAPE IN port for recording to pc(the EQUALIZER shows sound so i think im good) Then from the TAPE OUT i have the RC to pc output into my mic input on my PC. I go to record and i get no sound, ive tried various ways doing the the same setup but still no luck.

my real question

now is there any easier simpler way, like going straight from the MPC to my pc via one cable? Im willing to buy the needed parts so just let me know.

If you cant really help me, just explain to me how u guys run your setup.
All im looking for is a way to get my BEATS made to my pc for saving, and then record freestyles/writtens over these beats via my mic

much HELP APPRECIATED

thanksss

You can not hook up the MPC to PC to transfer files. Sorry... no one cable system.
The only way is transfering your floppy disk, zip disc or memory card from PC to MPC with the stored files. Or an external SCSI hard drive will do.

there's something about this, that is not connecting with me.....w/ that said...

1 - what program are you running on the pc
2 - have you considered trading in your behringer mixer for a firewire OR usb mixer?
3 - did you want the sounds separated, or just want to record in the beat fully into the pc?

I woulda recommended just using a midi usb interface..but i could be wrong on that in terms of, if it will work.
