I've only used one program for all my beats thus far...

Can't figure out how to use more than one?

Go the A.B's lol.

Yeah it's kinda tricky but simple at the same time.

You got a 2kxl right?

Cause you can only use one on the classic me thinks.

And I aint gonna explain if it's a waste a time.

I dont know if this might help :

just make a new program for a new beat,,if yu want samples from the other program put them in the new pgm too ..
if you want to hear beat 1 select pgm 1,,if you want to hear beat 2 switch to the other pgm...

this is using one pgm at a time ,i dont know bout the XL
I heard it can combine, use several pgms at the same time for the same beat,

in my case on the 2000,I can only use one at a time..I have to switch it manually if I want to use the other program/sounds ..

hope it helps you out

straight up just trying to work out how to maximize sample space and arrangement.

the best thing ive been working on lately is using the metranome.

this shit is vital

jay dee mastered this

you can definitely tell listening to some of his beats

just give it time really.....once you figure out all the ins/outs of the xl, the instrumentals get easier to make

the learning curve is pretty quick on it
