transposing a sequence

how exactly does this work; if it works...

can you transpose the sequence in octaves... (-10 to +10)

i used to work with a Roland DR-5 and I could transpose the entire sequence down an octave or up and the melody would change but still stay on point with the entire song.
THe keys, the bass, etc...

Can the MPC do the same thing?
if so, HOW?

You can transpose individual tracks, but not the entire sequence at once.

I'm not at my MPC, and I can't remember where this option is... Seq edit?

Only MIDI notes can be transposed.
Its in the "edit" screen.
