MPC2000XL with card reader (Question about OS)

Hi All!

i've installed a card reader/writter in my mpc2000xl and all is working good, but i have a question; should i update the OS of my MPC to the mpc2000MCD ? If not, what should be the maximum of card capacity the mpc can read? i was thinking about buying a new 1Gb card, cause my 128Mb isnt enough (not even closer).

1.20 OS IS WHAT I USE TO GET THE MOST OUT OF MY CF CARDS UP TO 2.GS

You use the 1.20 (2kXLmcd OS) in you 2kXL? Does it work's fine, no crashes and memory dumps? my mpc is getting some crashes when i create folders with sounds in my pc and move them by card to the mpc.

Are you sure? Everyone I've talked to regarding CF card size tells me to use 1GB or less .... 2GB cards seem to have issues with the MCD drive (and vice versa)

If this isn't the case with you, which card make/model are you using?

I'm runnin 1.14 OS and a 1GB card..
