After the change up the sample seems to go on forever.

How can I learn to sample like this guy? Are there any video tutorials on sampling like this for the 2000xl?

Last time I checked the 1000 and the 2000XL weren't that much different. He must have special powers to make beats like that!

Boon doc is definitely nice.

Theres really no answer to this question other then he took a sample (id say 4 bar) and chopped it 16 times then just plays with the pads until he gets something that sounds dope.

im not being snooty but practice practice practice practice that the key and read the manual

i usually don't like this guys beats just because it seems like a lot of the time he just chops a loop and then plays it on the pad. But i like the change he does on this. but the first thing is just a loop, so I say to get it sound like that, just get a loop that sounds good.

Find a sample. Make sure it loops perfectly, chop it into 16 parts. And play. Simple sh!t

Damu does the more grundgy, let it clip going in, type of ish. two different types kido.

That is the worst analogy I have ever heard "Kido". You have no idea what the **** your talking about. Damu mixes down on a MTR and Boon Doc mixes down on PT's Mbox so yeah they gonna sound different.
