if you have a mpc2000 what you need to do is get a dj mixer and run your turntable in it & run the outs on da mixer to the mpc record in and start sampling & choppin with the extra ins on your mixer run a cd player to it ,tape deck etc.

you dont need a mixer but it helps young pup. i wouldnt suggest a dj mixer really but its better than nothing.

Yo I use a RCA dual mono 1/4 in cable from my mp to the line outs in the dj mixer. Then hook your tuntable to the mixer. Try that

if it makes noise and somehow can be converted to a 1/4 in cable you can sample it, put an output into the input its really that simple man. good luck and welcome to the mpc2k

Hi. I'm kinda new and was thinking the same thing. I have a dj mixer but the output/input leads are different to the Mpc output. Any help on what leads I should use? any help will be great.

im guessing your outs are rca get connectors at radio shack to go from rca to 1/4 inch or if your mixer got 1/4 inch outs just use them to go into the mpc
