The MPC 1000 reads the following MPC2000 files:
SEQ, ALL, PGM, WAV (When PGM file is loaded, only pad assign is loaded. Other edit parameters are ignored.)

Get them saved to your PC or a media that the MPC1000 can access and you good to go.

So file translation into a 2nd file system makes it "good to go?"

AKai claims if an akai file format switches hands with a second OS ( hfs, ntfs ) then the file will experience degradation somewhere in the transfer. So if you use a mac or pc to convert or transfer an akai file ( no matter the suffix ), that second os will augment or modify the file, therefore presenting a problem.

So, not being good to go, after using a computer to simply transfer the media.
