I dont get why I cant edit what I want to be zones, IN THE ZONING SECTION! I keep havin to go back and forth from the main sample edit screen back to the zone. Then, when I finnaly save it to be spreaded out along the pads, its never chopped up how I set the zones.!!

Also in the zone screen you have to turn the number from 1 to 16 or 8 or 4 or what ever number you want

And here's 2 cents more, if you press do it to chop up the sample in zones an extra number of samples (copied from following zone) is added to the end of each zone (except the last one) this kan also make that you think that the zones are not cut as you specified it. This adding of extra samples can be configured and is mainly used to add some 'air' to each chop.

This is what I mean: When I want to chop a sample up (into zones), IN ZONE MODE, even after setting how much of the highlighted section I want to be a zone, I still have to keep going back to trim, to set it, the start and end of each zone, and it never comes out like I set it!

When you go into trim then zone go up top where it says PLAY X:ALL, rotate that to PLAY X:ZONE then press F6. You can preview the zones like that. Then go to edit when you have them all set right and SLICE SAMPLE. If you set it load a new program then you have to go into program and change DRUM1 back to the program you were workin in. Then change DRUM2 to the sliced sample program (ex.Sound2). Then at the Main Screen at the bottom where the tracks are pick what program (S:DRUM1) you want to use.

WORKED!!

THANX DUDE, NOW I KNOW WHAT EACH ZONE WILL SOUND LIKE AND NOT HAVE TO PRAY WHILE IT SAVES MY SLICES INTO A PGM!
