Hardware for MPC

i was browsing a website and i saw a MPC2000XL-SE1 and it had what looks like a rack mounted on it. which sits above it. its split in half, one being mono and the other being stereo. my question is what exactly is it. and are they available to purchase?

its the mfc 42 analog filter.

Does anyone on the board use one of those?
