Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hey people, i have a 2000 (non xl) classic and i have never used the digital input/output plugs on the back of the unit. can anyone help me with the use of this. i cannot find my manual. thank you.

yeah you have too get a rca digatal cable there about 15 bucks. its not really worth it if your sampling from vinal or cd. unless your output scorce is a digatal out it wont work. if you sample from a digtal source its cool it, gives a nice healty signal

so can you use a cd player and sample from that source?

it has to be spdif output for you to use it

If you get the digital out to work, let me know. I've never had any luck getting anything OUT of it (I use the in all the time)
