Wav files not being picked up when loading program - mpc2000

If I try to load a program file (.pgm) the mpc loads the program file. however, it then says it cannot find the accompanying *.wav files although they are present on the zip disk.
I can load the wav files individually. This even happends with the demo files on this site...any ideas?

I think you need to save an all programs and sounds file again.

are they in folders?...the 2000 can't read folders....my partner had a similar problem with the 2000 and he never was able to read the samples....sorry....

The MPC2000 PGM files will not automatically load WAV files. They need to be in SND format to be loaded PGM files.

XL model is different and does not care.

I guess it's the .SND and .PGM option (as I figured out the folder issue already...)...If memory serves me right...(which doesn't always happen living in Amsterdam)..I remember that a .PGM file did work when it was accompanied by .SND files.

I suppose I just thought that given that I can actually load the *.WAV file into my MPC that the issue was something else
