Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

But the mpc 1000 and the 2000xl.Whats the diffrence?
I heard the 1000 hasent got timestrech,but i got eq,and filters!?
is that right? Should i trade my maxed out 2000xl for it?


id try to search the forum but i couldnt find a good thread.

Why's that then?

You wont need a 2k xl if you want Timestetch (unless you got a hotminute on your hands) Its a function that with 2days tech, you can get around

I use & I think most others do too a software app like soundforge to do stretching/pitching etc.....Put your comps CPU to use.

I think perhaps you do need to do a search to uncover some opinions on the 2machines, do another search for the specs of the machine, compare them with your style/desired work pattern.Check your bank, then see whats good for 'you'!

i don't have a problem timestretching actually it will take longer to do it in the PC becuz i sample with my MPC....resampling is the feature that you can take a nap to

but noyd, they said it for a reason...you couldn't find what you wanted...did you look for longer than a couple of minutes?

people said do a search cos the info is there and they cant be bothered to repeat themselves...which i think is fair enough...
