I tried to take a sample from my computer. It wasinitially a WMA file. So I converted it to .WAV and it was to large to fit on a floppy. So I converted it to .SNDT and it fit on the floppy but it will not load. i tcames up Disk read error. i tried different disks so the disk isin't bad. What do I need to do?

Thanks,

Nick

- is the floppy drive working? (can you sample with the mpc and save to floppy and load it again?)
- how did you format your floppy disk? with the mpc?
- with transferring files back and forth you gotta watch out with filenames that are longer than 8 characters...
- is the sample 44.100 Hz?

I did format the disk in the MPC. What I was doing was coverting in stereo. When I switched ti to mono it worked...

Thanks
